Chef of the Month


Award-winning Bahamian Chef Sheldon Tracy Sweeting surprises no one with his talent. Competing at the Taste of the Caribbean in Miami over the last three years, this accomplished chef has received the "Hall of Fame", Gold Medal for "Best Use of Chocolate" 2014, "Cheesecake Competition winner" and 2015 "Pastry Chef of the Year". Chef Sweeting has earned quite a notable list of awards and accolades in competitions all over the world.

His illustrious cooking career began in his grandmother's kitchen at the age of 6 when he made his first cake from scratch. He enrolled in the Bahamas Hotel Training College and Apprenticeship course which he credits as the start of his professional career. From there he began his culinary journey securing internships throughout the United States and Europe. Chef Sweeting is presently employed as a private/personal chef.
